Part of what makes paintball such a fantastic, versatile sport is its resilience to weather. Across the seasons, throughout the year, IPG is here providing its unique brand of outdoor thrills. With the winter months upon us, however, it’s worth taking some steps to make sure you’re best suited to the season for your paintball adventure.
- Clothes for combat, not just for cold!
- Rather than just layering up with all the thickest clothes you have, multiple thin layers will go a much further way in retaining your body heat without weighing you down. Our custom body armour and overalls will be waiting for you at basecamp to keep you safe and paintball-proof, along with gloves available for purchase.
- Bringing a change of clothes and shoes is a good way to stay warm at the end of the day if the weather’s looking especially wet!
- Booted, not suited.
- Keep your feet warm and dry with water-resistant boots with ample ankle support for running around. Don’t wear anything that’s going to expose your feet
- Check your journey.
- Have a look at your route on the day, just to make sure you can arrive for a prompt start without any unexpected delays!
- Book in advance.
- Pre-book your trip to get the best deal going.
Throughout the winter, our guns will be loaded with specialist anti-freezing paintballs to keep your day out with us as weather-proof as we can. We can’t wait to see you out there!
